Team members should process a higher handgun standard than target shooting. SRT Instructors provide training in proven defensive shooting skills and tactics to enable team members to respond efficiently to an active threat. Proper use of cover, shooting on the move off the X, close encounter shooting, effective draw stroke, low light shooting, vehicle tactics are all skills team members should possess.
