CQB: Handgun is a 8 hour class designed to provide instruction on basic room entry tactics and techniques. Students will perform extensive dry fire exercises in the morning and live fire single person room entries in the afternoon. These skills are essential in your personal defense and home defense plans. Topics will include: weapon management, moving to and entering rooms, search techniques, moving off the X, tactics & techniques. 

Equipment Needed:
  • Handgun (380 or greater caliber, slide has to lock to rear)
  • Belt and holster  (No Cross draw, shoulder holsters, or ankle holsters)
  • 3 Magazines or 2 speed loaders
  • 250 rounds for handgun
  • Hearing & eye protection
  • Dress for outdoor range conditions
  • Baseball type hat
  • Sun screen/bug spray
  • Lunch & fluids
