Competition is training that allows the student to optimize their skills and become confident in their abilities, while increasing knowledge and recognizing their capabilities. Competition gets you shooting under pressure, real or imagined, while shooting various challenging courses of fire. It forces the participants to concentrate, make tactical decisions, and manage their weapon system efficiently, while being accountable for every round fired.
This course is more than competition participants will be scored on their first run and then receive training on how to improve their performance. Then students will be given a second opportunity to enhance skills.
Participants will take part in 10 to 15 stress courses of fire to keep their training relevant to developing their skills. Each exercise is timed with penalties seconds added on to your finished time for misses or other violations. Participants are given immediate feedback on their performance for training value.
